This patient was struggling to diagnose the origin of her pain from visiting previous dentists. After EC testing, visual inspection under magnification and illumination, we found a mesial fracture which elicited pain under loading with a sleuth. We traced the fracture into the wall of the chamber but not into the floor and proceed to root canal and crown.
