UR6 Missed MB2
A root canal case treated at Pimlico Dental, Victoria, with pre- and post-operative radiographs.
RE-TREATMENT- UR6 MISSED MB2
This patient presented with intermittent pain and swelling on the UR6. The previous root filling seemed well filled despite the presence of an apical area around the MB root. We took an additional CBCT to confirm the presence of an MB2 and selectively re-treated the MB and MB2 root.
The latest 1 year follow up shows some bone infiltration into the cystic area. The patient was asymptomatic.
