Patient attended from another practice with a horizontal fracture wanting a re-cement. We advised for the need for a post for retention, and an elective re-RCT to ensure long-term stability. We instrumented with reciprocation files, copious irrigation and agitation with US’s and left the patient obturated with a temp crown in situ.
