Mr R wanted to ascertain the status of his dental health, as he had not been to the dentist for many years. After a thorough examination, it was clear that his problems were not tooth decay but simply a collection of tartar (the hard deposits that collect between teeth). Unbeknown to him, the collection of tartar was contributing to his gum disease. We suggested he have a thorough clean and polish. We use conventional techniques of ultrasonic scaling and modern polishing equipment NSK Air Flow.
We recommend this treatment as often as every three months, or as delayed as every two years. Mr R was delighted with the results and couldn’t believe how much tartar was removed.
